Zamon Mak
Zamon Mak is a guitarist, improviser, and arranger based in Toronto. Currently studying at Humber Polytechnic, Zamon has developed as a young jazz musician under the mentorship of some of Canada’s finest musicians, including Lucian Gray, Ben Bishop, Kim Ratcliffe, and Jocelyn Gould.
Zamon’s sound is ever-evolving, combining elements of bebop, hard bop, and modern jazz. With a strong appreciation of the jazz tradition, he is committed to continuing his lifelong journey within the idiom and is eager to share his love of music with audiences. He can be heard performing regularly at various venues across Toronto.
